The Seaside Repertory Theatre is proud to continue mentoring in our local middle schools for the past three years. Our mentoring program began with The Seaside Neighborhood School and now also includes Emerald Coast Middle School, The Ohana School and Tesla school. During the program we introduce and teach all aspects of theatre including lights, sound, costumes, sets and stage management. During a time when drama is being cut from many schools programs, the Rep’s theatre mentoring program is very important to the well-rounded education of students. In the fall 2012 semester, we are currently directing and mentoring shows at three of our local schools.

Brook Stetler and Meghan Bode are directing “The Surprising Story of The Three Little Pigs” at Emerald Coast Middle School, while Meghan and Alan Daugherty are working on a Story Theatre performance at the Tesla School. Brook is also directing William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” at The Ohana School.

Keep an eye out on our website and our facebook page for upcoming performances at all of our talented schools!
